Guided Maine Moose Hunts

In the surrounding region, forestry practices have created ideal habitat for the Maine moose. With miles of dirt road in the area, accessing good moose hunting terrain takes just a short while. Accompanied with streams, ponds and miles of wetlands the Moose population is abundant.

Moose hunting in Maine is available through a lottery system. Permit applications can be obtained by contacting The Maine Fish and Wildlife Department at www.mefishwildlife.com. Folks, there are some really big moose around here. Each year bulls are taken that have antler spreads of 60 inches and bigger with body weights of a 1000lbs or more. Picture that-- a giant bull moose staggering his way through the woods towards you.

Our primary tactic for hunting is by calling and spot and stalk, particularly calling around the areas where bulls frequently wallow in search for mates.

We guide zones 7, 8 and 13.

$1800 per permit
Lunch, lodging, and transportation included

Telephone: 207-265-2075
